Courtesy Visit on Emir of Zazzau

In our continuous efforts to engage and consult traditional institutions, A delegation of the Nigerian Youth Parliament was on a two-day working courtesy and familiarization visit to the Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli.

The delegation was well received by the Principal Private Secretary (PPS) to the Emir of Zazzau who doubles as the Dokajin Zazzau.

Purpose of the visit was, but not limited to introduction of the Nigerian Youth Parliament to establish a working relationship.

The Speaker of the Parliament further speaks on the project of "The Youth Gavel" Magazine with the lead story of Unity in Cultural Diversity and stressed on the need for our traditional institutions to be given more roles to play in bringing about peaceful coexistence amongst our diverse ethnic groups.

The Emir of Zazzau appreciates efforts of the Parliament in ensuring synergy between traditional institutions and the youth. He stressed on the dare need for our youth to imbibe the culture of stakeholder engagements to have a better understanding of our diverse culture through platforms like the Nigerian Youth Parliament.
